Available Scholarship for Postgraduate Students – How To Apply

The Stephen Ouwole Awokoye Foundation for Science Education invites nominations for its 2017 Postgraduate Scholarship Award in Science Education.

The Board of Trustees calls for nomination from the best 2016 Nigerian Graduating Students in Science, Education, Medicine, and Environmental Science who are known to have an intention to pursue a Postgraduate Degree in their various fields.

According to the Executive Director, Dr. Omolaraeni O. Awokoye-Adadevoh, nominees should not be students who graduated before 2016, or those who are currently graduate Teaching Assistant 2015/2016 academic year.

Each nominee to the scheme should have a reputation for hardwork and good behaviour.

His/her University Transcript should be forwarded to the Board of Trustees together with a letter of recommendation from Dean of the relevant Faculty.

*   Each nominee should fill the enclosed form.  The form is to be sent directly to the Foundation by the nominee together with his/her write-ups.

*   Not more than one nominee should be recommended from one Department except the nominees have the same CGPA.

*   No final year students yet to graduate are to be nominated.

Also note that:

*   The letter of nomination (should include the email and telephone number of the recommender);

*   Transcript;

*   The filled bio-data form and write-ups of the nominees are all to be sent to the Foundation before the end of January, 2017 a final screening of nominees will be done early in February, 2017.
