The Committee of Deans of Engineering and Technology (CODET) in Nigerian Universities recently organized the First National engineering Students’ Competition in Abuja.
UNIZIK took the 2nd and 3rd positions out of the six positions available for the competition. Nwaigwe Amarachi and Njeku Gabriel of electronics and Computer Engineering Department took the 2nd position under group project titled “Solar Powered Wheel Chair” while Udoye Chinedu Springs of Mechanical engineering took the 3rd position under single project titled: “Design and Construction of Compressed Air Vehicle”.
The award will be performed during the 25th Engineering Assembly scheduled to hold at International Event centre, Akure, Ondo State from 8th – 9th of August, 2016
