Following a request by the Anambra State Command of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for an interactive session with the University Community, the Vice-Chancellor has graciously approved the request.  At the session, issues of illicit drug abuse and trafficking among University students will be discussed.

The letter of request to the Vice-Chancellor, signed by the NDLEA State Commander, Momodu Sule, lamented the ugly effects of the issue at stake and gave the reason for the session as being to mobilize and sensitize the University Community against illicit drug activities as well as to explore ways of further cooperation between the command and the Institution in that direction.
