National Association of Political Science Students (NAPSS) holds first ever National Conference In UNIZIK

The NAPSS National executive members led by the National President, Comrade Ogene Jude Ogbodo from UNIJOS, recently held the first ever National Conference at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka where they also paid a courtesy visit on the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Joseph Eberendu Ahaneku, FAS.

Speaking on behalf of the Association, Com. Ogbodo appreciated the Vice-Chancellor for the support to host the Association’s first ever National Conference in UNIZIK. He also commended the Vice-Chancellor for the students’ friendly, and violence free environment.

Welcoming them, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ahaneku, thanked them for choosing UNIZIK as the venue for the Conference in the entire federation. He said the University Management is known for its support and partnership in anything that has to do with the educational development of the students in their various chosen careers.

While addressing the student body, the Vice-Chancellor said the University is a problem solving entity, where professionals are groomed. He urged the students to be models for good standard.

Present for the visit were: the Dean of Students’ Affairs, Dr. Stan Udedi, Deputy Registrar, Uthman Dan fodio University, Dr. Friday Nkem Nwankpa, HOD, Political Science UNIZIK, Dr. Frank Collins N. Okafor, and Dr. Anekwe Sebastine Chukwudozie of the Department of Political Science, UNIZIK.

Also present were the executive members of NAPSS nationwide, Salihu Yunusa Salihu (UNIJOS), Bello Shehu (UDUS), Abdulrasheed Danladi Ibrahim (UDUS), Ebuka Munachimso (UNN), Okelue Collins (ANSU), Abel Emmanuel (AMEH), Alasinrin Abdulhakeem (YSU), Stanley Oguegbu (UNIZIK), Anekwe Collins (UNIZIK).
