The Nnamdi Azikiwe University High School students have excelled by coming third (3rd) at the maiden edition of the nation-wide President’s Inter-University Secondary Schools Debate Championship.
Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Joseph E. Ahaneku, FAS commended the school Principal, Mrs. Vicky Chibuzo Onyejike, Management staff and students when they presented the trophy and its accompaniments, won consequent upon the third place position achieved.
The Vice-Chancellor stated that successfully coming third among the whole lot of schools in Nigerian universities was a milestone achievement by any standard, thanking the school for striving in consonance with the University’s determined pursuit of excellence.
He pledged the University’s continued offer of assistance, support and encouragement to the school, and appealed that effort should be made to not only consolidate but also build on the current level of achievement.
The Maiden Edition, President’s Inter-University Secondary School Debate Championship, Nigeria, took place at the Nassarawa State University, Keffi, Nassarawa State.
