Meet unizik best graduating student 2017, Ozofor Henry Ikenna. With a CGPA of 4.85, the Civil Engineering graduate beat over 6,000 graduands to emerge the overall best at the 11th Convocation ceremony of Nnamdi Azikiwe University took place on 16th March, 2017.
In his valedictory speech, the overall-best graduating student said that his five years in school had its challenges but God saw him through. He thanked the management of UNIZIK for their commitment towards providing healthy environment for learning. He also thanked the staff of the Faculty of Engineering for their student-first-philosophy.
To the younger zikites, he advised that they discover themselves and pursue their visions vigorously so that by God’s grace, they will perfect their missions as students. More so, he expressed hope that the 2016 UNIZIK graduands have the solutions to various issues that battle Nigeria from blazing the trail as true giant of Africa. He extended his thanks to his parents, ABS transport Company, Shell Petroleum Development Company, Chevron and Allied Energy for their scholarships which assisted students like him throughout his studies in the University.
